You will need to provide us with clear color photos of the item that you would like us to estimate with the following required information: name of the artist or maker, title of the artwork or item, size (dimensions), medium, material, date of creation, exhibition or ownership history, provenance, certificates, and condition, or equivalent information for collectibles.

Goupil & Cie will provide a provisional estimate based on the information that you share with us. Please allow us to revert to you within a timeframe of approximately two to four weeks. The provisional estimate is subject to revision after physical examination by a specialist. Goupil & Cie does not provide any estimate or any other related information for items that are not suitable for Goupil & Cie auctions or private sales.

After your item is considered suitable for a Goupil & Cie sale, our specialist will then contact you to coordinate the consignment process and define the most appropriate selling channel for you according to your own preferences as well as the current market needs and auction calendar. We will send you a consignment agreement with our terms and conditions to start the process. Our specialist will also discuss shipping options with you.
